Position Title: Assistant Grounds Person 


Salary: £10.57 p/h (40 hours per week)   


Period: Permanent 


Location: Elsea Park, Bourne, Lincolnshire


Hours of Duty: 0730hrs (7:30am) - 1600hrs (4pm) Monday - Friday

Elsea Park Community Trust (The Trust) is a resident led, not-for-profit, organisation providing and managing a wide range of community facilities within the Elsea Park development in Bourne, Lincolnshire.


The Trust is looking to recruit an Assistant Grounds Person.  The overarching responsibility is to maintain, to a high standard, all the public open space areas owned by the Trust within the Elsea Park Development, which includes grassed areas, formal play spaces, ditches and a large meadows area.

Who we are looking for

The successful applicant will work as part of The Trust’s Grounds Team but will also be required to work on their own and using their own initiative.    


We are looking for a person who is dependable, trustworthy, and attentive, whilst being prepared to work flexibly according to the needs of the business and prevailing weather conditions.


Primary duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Grass Cutting 
  • Hedge Trimming 
  • Border Maintenance
  • Assisting other members of the Grounds team
  • Keeping ditches clear of debris
  • Litter collection
