Elsea Park - respect for the environment
Elsea Park has been conceived as a community in harmony with its location. It lies in a lovely area, bordered on by Math and Elsea Woods, both sites of Special Scientific Interest. To help support the Elsea Park ecology, designers called in English Nature, who provided expert advice on how to protect existing wildlife and create new habitats.
Houses are set amongst existing woodland and beside existing ponds. Ancient hedgerows and ditches are being retained. Wildlife habitats are being preserved and extended with particular care being taken to ensure the protection of the site's badger sets.
